George C. Chatzopoulos Fund

Nick Vouloumanos was most recently a Director at Ramius Capital Group, a New York based hedge fund which he joined in 2000. Previously, he was with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in the Leveraged Finance Department. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he holds a bachelor of sciences degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Mr. Vouloumanos is currently on the board of Northern Offshore Limited, an offshore drilling company which is listed on the Oslo exchange.

Michael is currently employed at Bowne as an infrastructure architect. He spends most of his free time surfing, climbing, hiking, and recently mountain biking with his close friends and wife Ambyr. He had the pleasure of introducing George to surfing and climbing.

Theano Chatzopoulos, mother of George, Michael and Catherine, wife to the late Nikolaos Chatzopoulos, Archon Aktouarios of Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople was born in Greece and raised in Constantinople, Turkey. Theano has been working as an Office Manager at Cranford Ophthalmology in Cranford, New Jersey for over twenty years. She has devoted over 30 years to the Greek Orthodox Philoptohos, a Philanthropic Women's Organization. Theano, known as Noula to her friends, enjoys long walks, traveling and swimming in the ocean.

Catherine Chatzopoulos is currently employed at Goldman Sachs in Client Operations. She graduated from Kean University with a B.A in Communications with a broadcasting emphasis. Her hobbies include, exercising, writing poetry and enjoying the great outdoors.

Frank is currently employed with WJB Capital Group Inc, where he is an Associate in their Corporate Access Department. Prior to joining WJB, Frank was in the mortgage banking industry as a mortgage banker. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Art History. He has been a member of Jersey Cares since 2006.

Michael Petrosky is a chiropractic physician in private practice in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he lives with his wife Maureen and their twin boys.

Dr. Petrosky holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Biology from Villanova University. After work in both pharmaceutical research and sales, he decided to shift his career focus to helping people create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. He graduated from Life College of Chiropractic in 2002. He spent the next three years practicing in Manhattan before relocating to Pennsylvania where he established Petrosky Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, LLC. As a life long friend of the Chatzopoulos family, he shares their passion for outdoor activities including running, hiking, and rock climbing.

Michael is currently employed at Barclays Capital with the Institutional Client Group in the Fixed Income Division. Prior to joining Barclays, Michael worked at Lehman Brothers for ten years, engaged in various businesses such as private wealth, asset management and corporate treasury services. Over the past eight years, Michael has been involved in several philanthropic efforts including Jersey Cares, Gowanus In Unity Tutoring, and The Harlem Children's Zone. Michael is a 1997 graduate of Syracuse University. Monica and Michael Hutchinson now live in Chicago, IL.

David Patterson is currently employed at Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisors as a financial equity trader. He graduated from Princeton University in 1996 with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Biomedical Science from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001. David and his wife Lauren live in New York City.

Lauren is an attorney, licensed in the State of Florida, where she practiced commercial litigation before moving to New York. Lauren is a cum laude graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, and received her J.D. from the University of Miami. Lauren also volunteers with the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the survival of the bonobo and its tropical forest habitat in the Congo Basin.

Monica Hutchinson is currently freelancing as a culinary producer, food stylist and recipe developer/tester. She is a 2004 graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City. Prior to switching fields and obtaining her culinary education, she was employed by Major League Baseball in the Graphic Design department, where her logo for the 2002 World Series was named as a runner up to the finalist. Monica graduated from West Virginia University in 2000, with a major in Advertising and a dual minor in Business and English. In addition to food, her outside interests include photography, snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding and her French Bulldog puppy, "Taco." Monica and Michael Hutchinson now live in Chicago, IL.

Roda Plakogiannis is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy, Long Island University. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and traditional Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed a specialized pharmacy residency in primary care, at Bay Pines Veterans Medical Center in Florida. Dr. Plakogiannis currently practices at Montefiore Bronx East in the ambulatory care setting.

Ambyr is a partner at Women’s Advanced Athletics LLC, a corporation specifically designed to help with the advancement and betterment of women athletes. She graduated from Lafayette College in 2002 with a B.A. in Business/Economics and still currently holds the Lafayette Women’s Track & Field Pole Vault record. After graduating she spent began coaching Collegiate athletes in Track and Field. Ambyr spends her free time climbing, hiking and mountain biking with her friends and wonderful husband, Michael.

Rocco is currently employed at WJB Capital Group, Inc where he is head of Global Sales and Trading. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1996 with a B.A. in Visual Art and Art History. Rocco lives in Fair Haven, NJ with his wife Andrea and his two kids Mia and Rocco.

Louis graduated from FDU in Madison, NJ with a BS in Marketing. A Restaurateur who is part owner in Cavalier Hospitality Group. Louis grew up in Union County, NJ. An avid soccer fan and outdoor enthusiast, he loves to travel the world with great company and cherishes his time he was able to travel to Spain with George. Currently living in Cranford, NJ.
